A tutorial of mathematica for the beginners. Starting from the preliminary ideas of mathematica, this article describes the basic mechanisms of linking of external programs with mathematica through proper mathlink commands. Following with this, we explore how to create a mathematica batch file from a mathematica notebook and run it in the background. Finally, we narrate the techniques for parallelization of a mathematica program by sharing different independent parts of the program into all other computers available in the network.
