Three models of astrophysical quark matter are examined. Assuming the validity of Einstein's theory of gravitation, the total mass, radius, and moment of inertia are calculated for quark stars. The surface gravitational redshift are also calculated. In the noninteracting Fermi gas model, earlier results for the mass are reproduced, and radii of the order of 10 m are found. The model gives values like those obtained for neutron stars for mass, radius, and moment of inertia for an input quark mass of 400 MeV/sq c. Some comparisons with the extended bag model for strange stars are made, and possible differences between quark stars and neutron stars are discussed.
