Evolutionary models of massive (20 and 40 solar mass) Pop I stars, with initial chemical composition given by the mass abundances X equals .602 and Z equals .044 are computed from the main sequence up to the core He-ignition stages taking into account mass loss. The rate of mass loss is according to the relation dM/dt equals K(LR/M), where the constant K is such as to give some imposed rates in the main sequence stage. The appearance of semiconvective instability is also taken into account, and it is found that its mass extension strongly depends on the main sequence rate. An attempt is made to compare these results with the mass-losing OB stars and, under the assumption that actually OB stars might lose mass during the core H-burning stages, a possibility of determining their mass and that of their parent stars is suggested.
