We present time-dependent, one-dimensional, numerical simulations of the mass loading of the stellar wind from a high-mass star due to embedded proplyds. The simulations are tailored to the O star θ1 Ori C in the Orion nebula, using realistic mass-loading rates taken from detailed studies of the Orion proplyds. We find significant dynamical effects on the wind due to the mass loading that can be directly compared with observational probes of the radial dependence of the wind pressure.
