Protoneutron Star Cooling, Neutrino Luminosity

Scientific paper

In this work we present an effective dynamical calculation in order to investigate the possibility of mass ejection during the protoneutron star cooling phase. The mass ejection is induced by the neutrino momentum transfer when passing through the core dense medium escaping from the structure. Neutrino luminosity is parameterized by assuming a time dependent deleptonization rate along the inner and outer cores. We discuss the mass ejection by varying the neutrino opacity which is taken as a free parameter.
