Scientific paper

Starting from the theory of weakly turbulent plasma, the authors have derived from the Vlasov equation the evolution of maser-generated resonance waves. They discuss the growth rate of the Langmuir wave in the case of electron beam injection. It is pointed out that the maser effect can better explain the anomalous Langmuir radiation in space than the other plasma instabilities considered in the paper.
