Maps of C2, NH2, O I and dust have been simultaneously recorded on P/Halley using an imaging spectrometer. This method has led to an accurate removal of the dust continuum for the radical emission. The images obtained demonstrate that simple models which asssume an isotropic and steady expansion are too simple to describe the coma expansion.
