The distributions of Eu on the surface of Alpha exp 2 CVn, Si on CU Vir, and Sr on Chi Ser are derived from the variable line profiles by solving the inverse problem. These maps are compared against evidence for the magnetic field configurations. For alpha exp 2 CVn the two-spot Eu map agrees with Landstreet's placement of the magnetic poles. For CU Vir the regions of maximum Si abundance evidently do not coincide with the magnetic poles for a dipole configuration.
