As part of an ongoing study to map the dark matter around early-type galaxies using the kinematics of planetary nebula systems, we have obtained radial velocities of ~ 100 planetary nebulae around the E1 galaxy NGC 3379 using the Rutgers Fabry-Perot interferometer. We present preliminary results on the distribution of dark matter in the galaxy's halo and on the kinematics of the planetary nebula system. We also present further observations of the planetary nebula system around the SB0 galaxy NGC 3384. We discuss the implications of our results for the dynamics of the N3379--N3384 pair and the HI ring surrounding these galaxies.
