We mapped the distribution of hydrothermal minerals at the summit of
Mauna Kea, Hawaii, using Airborne Visible InfraRed Imaging Spectrometer
data. Our results provide a test on the detectability of hydrothermal
alteration products on Mars at visible and near-IR wavelengths.
