The authors present B,V magnitudes and relative positions for all the stars brighter than V = 18.3 in a field of 0.02 square degrees near the north west end of the Large Magellanic Cloud bar. These stars are the bright tail of a larger sample of about 18000 stars previously presented in the form of color-magnitude diagram; they form a set of data free from selection effects and, therefore, valuable for further studies.
