We establish the existence of axisymmetric, time -independent, non-relativistic, ideal, magnetohydrodynamic, collimated outflows from thin accretion disks around compact objects, by solving the full set of MHD equations that include matter flow, electromagnetic fields, pressure, and gravity. The self-similar solutions are characterized by 4 important free dimensionless parameters. The magnetic field plays an important role in extracting angular momentum from the disk, in accelerating the outflows perpendicular to the disk, and in providing collimation at large distances. The terminal jet velocities are of the order of or greater than the rotational velocity of the disk at the base of the flow.
