A series Bi0.5Sr0.5FexMn1-xO3 (0 <= x <= 0.8) was synthesized by a solid-state reaction. X-ray and neutron powder diffraction show that the crystal structure is orthorhombic for x <= 0.3 and cubic for x > 0.4 at room temperature. The charge/orbital order exists in the pure form for the compound without Fe. The magnetic states of the compounds with Fe-content change from paramagnetic to weak antiferromagnetic ones. The conductivity of compounds, measured between 90 K and 600 K is of semiconducting-type, and there is no magnetoresistence in a field of 7 kOe.
