The paper reports on high spectral resolution scans of the lines of H-alpha, He I 5876 A, forbidden line O III 5007 A, forbidden line N II 6584 A, forbidden line S II 6717 A, and forbidden line O I which have been made at a grid of 13 points in the Orion nebula using Fabry-Perot interferometer and a 2-arcmin-diameter circular aperture. It is found that the velocities of forbidden line O III, He I, and H-alpha as well as H76-alpha reported previously are generally more negative that the velocities of the forbidden lines N II, S II, and O I by about 10 km/s. Finally, a flow control model is proposed for the nebula.
