Radar observations of the Lyrid meteor shower in 1982 at Ottawa, Canada, (Springhill Meteor Observatory) showed enhanced activity on April 22 peaking at 06:49 UT (solar longitude 31.380°, equinox 1950). The duration of the storm was 22 minutes between half-maximum points, and 50 minutes to quarter maximum. Small particles predominated. A search for non-random pairing of observed particles gave no positive result.
