We propose new observations of the GOODS CDF-S with the NB656 (H(alpha)) narrowband filter, which can be used to discover LAEs from z=4.36 - 4.43. A large portion of this field has been observed with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) ACS F658N narrowband, allowing the study of resolved Lyα emission. This allows detailed investigation into the interstellar media of these galaxies, as radiative transfer can result in different observed sizes of Lyα light when compared to rest-frame UV light. Current results from three detected LAEs in the HST narrowband imaging shows that LAEs may be larger in their Lyα light, implying that an inhomogeneous ISM could be a primary factor in allowing Lyα escape, even from dusty galaxies. However, a larger sample of galaxies are needed to ensure this result is robust. Noise due to charge transfer inefficiency in the HST ACS data make it difficult to use to discover new LAEs, thus ground-based imaging are necessary to first identify the LAEs. Deeper NB656 imaging will nearly double the sample of LAEs in the region of the CDF-S covered by HST, as well as providing a sample of nearly 100 new LAEs in the extended CDF-S region which we will use to study the LAE luminosity function and clustering properties.
