Faraday rotation measurements at 140 MHz, made at a chain of stations near the anomaly peak region in India after the ATS-6 satellite's repositioning to 35 deg E in 1975, have yielded ionospheric total electron content data that have been used to study lunar monthly and lunar daily variations. The latitudinal variations of both the lunar semimonthly and semidiurnal oscillations are found to be similar to the latitudinal variation of total electron content itself, with the maximum amplitude near the anomaly peak. The phases of the lunar total electron content oscillations at these latitudes agree with those obtained earlier from f0F2 data.
