An improved deceleration factor is obtained on the basis of the exact formula for the luminosity distance in the Friedmann universe model. The statistical relation of m(z)-z is derived from the QSO Catalog of Hewitt and Burbidge. The luminosity of QSOs as a function of z or t and their respective derivatives is calculated. The present study is based on the Hubble diagram with the standard candle of QSOs.
