The QSO 2345-167 is found to be an active low-frequency variable with a flux density at 408 MHz that increased from 1.6 to 2.8 Jy between 1968 and 1978. The slow, steady increase over along period is unusual among sources having large relative changes. The QSO is an optically violent variable and also a highly polarized QSO with a compact radio size unresolved by VLBI. A large optical flare in 1969 may be associated with the low-frequency variation.
