The Love numbers for n = 2 to 10 were calculated for Jupiter, Saturn,
and Uranus, and 'gravitational noise' from tides were determined. On the
basis of these new Love numbers, the planetary dissipation functions are
estimated to be greater than approximately 25,000, 14,000, and 5000 for
Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus, respectively.
