The results of an analysis of long-period pulsations of solar decimeter wave radio emission based on a large amount of statistically homogeneous data are given. Long-period pulsations always are observed on the growing phase and/or at the maximum size of a solar active region. The occurrence of the long-period pulsations is closely related with the rising of a new magnetic flux into the corona.
