Very peculiar kinematics of the dense molecular gas in the inner 500 pc of the Milky Way are discussed on the basis of observations of the CS J = 5-4 and CO J = 3-2 emission toward the Sgr D continuum source. The distribution of the CS emission correlates well with the millimeter and radio continuum emission, which suggests that these tracers all originate in the same region. The central velocity of the CS line is consistent with that of the H91-alpha radio recombination line, which indicates that the H II region is associated with the core.
