The correlation between Li abundance and chromospheric activity is analyzed in high-resolution, high SNR spectra of 57 RS CVn type binaries. Lithium abundances of 87 RS CVn components for 57 RS CVn systems is obviously reduced with decreasing gradual reduction in T(eff). Li abundance shows statistically declining trends in RS CVn stars with increasing rotational velocities. Most of the RS CVn systems are unlikely to be metal-poor stars. The Li abundance in the RS CVn stars appears to have no obvious correlation with chromospheric activity.
