Scientific paper
Having carefully investigated the radiative transfer process in stellar atmospheres with extended outflowing envelopes, the authors present a new non-LTE atmosphere code to calculate line profiles in such stars. The line transfer is treated using the linearized separation method, which may both save computing time and have quick convergency. The authors use this method to analyse the Hα P Cygni profile of ɛ Ori and get good agreement between theoretical and observational profiles.
