The abundances of LiH molecules in interstellar clouds are estimated.
Calculations are then made of the excitation temperatures of various LiH
rotational levels and of expected radiation fluxes in IR lines
corresponding to LiH rotational transitions. The possibility of
observing these lines is discussed.
