I present a series of multicolor lightcurves for a number of W UMa contact binaries obtained with the Tenagra-II 0.81m telescope operated as part of the Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope (LCOGT) Network.
The contact binaries span a range of spectral types from mid-A to early-K and in some cases have not been studied photometrically before. Multicolor lightcurves in V and I have been obtained for all systems which are combined with the published spectroscopic orbits to derive complete system parameters.
For systems with lightcurves at multiple epochs, I discuss the time evolution of the magnetic activity and variations as a function of spectral type.
