Design of a light weight low cost spacecraft for Nereus asteroid
observations based on the flight proven PLANET-A spacecraft is
described. The feasibility of designing a light weight (about 146 kg)
low power consumption spacecraft for asteroid observations using the
state-of-the-art technologies is demonstrated.
