The light curves of Type Ia supernovae provide insight into the physics of this type of explosion. The late time light curves (> 50 days) are powered by the gamma-ray photons and positrons produced in the ^56Coarrow ^56Fe decay and tend to show positron escape from the ejecta. The light curve of SN 2000cx in NGC 524 is different from all other known SNe Ia. It has an asymmetry in the B-band peak and does not fit well with any of the current fitting techniques.
