This paper discusses the transition from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0, providing
examples of both, with particular regard to Social Networks. The focus
will be on Book Social Networks and their main features. Data and
evaluation of the examined Book Social Networks will be provided, along
with pros and cons of their suitability for use in astronomy libraries.
