Li-B depletions in Martian basalts were cited as evidence for
significant magmatic water-loss. Similar depletions were observed in
completely dry lunar basalts. We examine the effects of crystal
chemistry, shock pressure, and thermal metamorphism on the behavior of
Li-B in lunar pyroxenes.
