The Beyond the Solar System Professional Development Project (BtSS) aims to increase the prevalence and quality of space science teaching about the origin and evolution of the universe. It was designed to meet specific audience needs and has developed an ongoing network of nearly 1,000 space science educators, including a core Leadership Team whose members provide professional development across the country.
