The MUltiwavelength Survey by Yale/Chile (MUSYC; Gawiser et al. 2005, astro-ph/0509202) covers 1.2 square degrees of sky to U,B,V,R 26 and K 22 (AB). The broad coverage of the survey (UBVRIzJHK+NB5000) is especially suited for selecting objects at specific redshifts. One of the four MUSYC fields is the Extended CDF-S, home of the largest Chandra survey ever conducted at its depth ( 0.3 square degrees and 228 ks). Using UVR, BV+NB5000, and X-ray colors, we have selected LBG (Lyman Break Galaxies), LAE (Lyman Alpha Emitters) and AGN at z 3. We present results on the demographics of this set of protogalaxies, including estimates of the dark matter halo masses of each population inferred from their clustering amplitude, the fraction of LBGs and LAEs that contain AGN, and the joint x-ray and optical selection of AGN at this redshift.
