On the basis of the gravitational field, topographic and maximal fluctuations of the density on the planetary surface data a latitudinal variation of the Martian density was established. It is shown that the maximal variations of the density can be observed on the limits "crust - mantle", "mantle - core". A transition layer in the silicate mantle at a depth of about 700 km is revealed.
