The absorption of CO2-laser radiation by ammonia at the R(14) line of the 10.6-micron band in mixtures with N2, H2, Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe is studied. Coefficients of broadening and line shift were obtained for the as R(1, 1) line of the nu2 band of (N-14)H3. A modified Lorentz function was used to analyze the absorption-line shape and an analysis of measurement errors was performed. The temperature dependence of the broadening coefficient of ammonia in an atmosphere of NH3, N2 and H2 was determined.
