PACE-I HgCdTe, an industry-leading intrinsic detector technology for
developing large, high performance IR focal plane arrays (IRFPAs) in the
MWIR (3-5 microns) spectral band, is reviewed. Emphasis is placed on
hybrid HgCdTe 256 x 256 IRFPAs and the status of 640 x 480 hybrid HgCdTe
FPA.
