The authors analyze the anisotropy of the 3 K background radiation produced by cosmological density waves using the Lifshitz-Khalatnikov perturbative modes. They calculate the anisotropy pattern arising from plane waves in a flat Friedmann model and from their best local and global analogs in negative curvature models. They show that the curvature of space enhances the dipole strength in the long wavelenght regime. For the plane wave global analog it also excites many other harmoncis.
