The lack of large angular correlations of the temperature fluctuation on the cosmic microwave background (hereafter CMB) sky have been considered by some to be the serious problems for the standard inflationary Λ cold dark matter cosmology (hereafter ΛCDM). In this work, we analyze the angular correlation function of the CMB sky. We present a method of reconstructing the multipole coefficient alm of temperature fluctuation on the entire sky from the CMB maps that include a sky-cut (e.g. KQ75 mask). From these reconstructions we calculate the angular correlation function of the temperature fluctuations. We apply an optimal estimator of the alm and show that it is possible to compute the angular correlation function at large angular scales from our realization of the sky even if a sky cut is applied to the data.
