In the case of SiH, which is of interest as a probable interstellar species, the only available prediction for the radioastronomical frequency band must be made by extrapolating Lambda-doubling from high rotational levels populated in laboratory experiments to low rotational levels. Predictions made with the aid of the approximations introduced by Van Vleck (1929) are considered. Data obtained in the calculations are presented in a table.
