The millimeter wave spectrum of SiC2 in its antisymmetric nu(3) mode was observed in a glow discharge, using a mixture of SiH4, C2H2 and Ar. A total of 95 lines, characterized by J between 8 and 21 and K(a) between 1 and 13, were measured between 190 and 470 GHz, a set of molecular constants was derived. Evidence for large amplitude motion was found from the comparison with the ground state molecular constants. The frequencies of the lines of astrophysical interest were accurately predicted.
