The frequencies of the hyperfine structure components of the Λ-doubling transitions associated with the lowest energy rotational level of gas phase 12CH and 13CH are reported. These electric dipole allowed transitions were measured using the technique of microwave optical double resonance. The uncertainty associated with the measurements is <0.2 MHz, and the laboratory values for 12CH agree to within this uncertainty with the astronomical measurements.
