The strong electric dipole-allowed transitions of the molecular ion
CO(+) in the region 235-470 GHz have been measured in the laboratory.
The laboratory spectra at 235 GHz appear to confirm the claim by
Erickson et al. (1981) to have observed CO(+) in OMC-1.
