Evidences of aqueous reservoirs have been detected in some icy satellites such as Europa, Ganymede or Titan. The Case of Europa is especially interesting for Astrobiology because the aqueous reservoir is in contact with the rock layer. During the geological evolution and differentiation of the satellite, the aqueous reservoir probably has had an enrichment of some chemical components from the rock. It is assumed that the presence of liquid water is one of the requisites necessaries to consider planetary environment as habitable. There are some other fundamental requirements such as favourable conditions for the developement of complex organic molecules, the presence of chemical building blocks and the existence of available energy sources for maintaining the metabolism of the organisms.
