In inclusive and semi-inclusive deep-inelastic lepton-nucleon scattering Λ and bar Λ polarization were investigated by the HERMES experiment. The longitudinal spin-transfer of the Λ0 hyperon has been measured to be DLL'Λ = 0.11± 0.17± 0.03 and is consistent with zero. Additionally, a transverse component has been determined using inclusive Λ and bar Λ (e+ N-> Λ 0/bar Λ 0 + X). For the Λ0 the result is PnΛ = 6.6 ± 1.1(stat) ± 2.5(syst) and for the bar Λ 0 it is P{nbar Λ } = -6.6± 3.7(stat)± 2.5(syst).
