Eclipsing Binaries, Luminosities, Magnitudes, Effective Temperatures, Colors, And Spectral Classification

Scientific paper

KR Cyg is a β Lyr type eclipsing binary. It was classified by many different authors as the spectral types A0, A1, A2.5 and A4 V. Since the different spectral types mean different temperatures, we see the different light curve analyse results in the literature. In this study we attempted to make photometric investigations for KR Cyg. We simultaneously analysed U, B, V, R light curves of KR Cyg using latest version of Wilson-Devinney code (Wilson and van Hamme, 2003), and compared with the analyse results published by the other authors in the literature.
