For a 90-sec interval on September 26, 1976, the Kosmos 856 satellite
recorded X-ray pulsations in the 32-124 keV energy range from a field in
the neighborhood of the flaring X-ray pulsar FXP 0520-66. The period of
the pulsations was 8.6 + or - 0.6 sec; the mean flux density, 0.0014
photon/sq cm/sec/keV.
