The radial velocities of the ionized gas in the interacting pair of
spiral galaxies VV 317 are studied. A rotation curve and mass are
obtained for VV 317 b. In the central part of the barred galaxy VV 317 a
we discover motions of ionized gas perpendicular to the plane of the
galaxy with velocities ≃80km s-1.
