Calibration of multi-wavelength luminosities and mean kinematical parameters from HIPPARCOS data and NIR (K) and IR (12 and 25) photometry leads us to propose a stellar and circumstellar evolution of Long Period Variable stars in the same time as peculiar properties of some stars are put in evidence. The data of large astrometric and multi-wavelegth photometric surveys allow to increase the size of the sample and thus to refine the results. In particular, to cross DeNIS,IRAS and TYCHO data can be a large progress.
