We present results from modeling high dispersion IUE absorption profiles of highly ionized gas in the Galactic halo. The modeling fits, simultaneously, absorption profiles from an ensemble of lines of sight through the halo to a family of heuristic models of the distribution of halo gas as a function of Galactic altitude. The lines of sight used in the analysis were selected to have good ``kinematic leverage'', i.e., to be lines of sight where the effects of differential Galactic rotation are large. As a result, the profiles provide excellent velocity-to-distance mapping which enables us to constrain the run of gas density with line of sight distance or, equivalently, Galactic altitude. Results from the modeling effort will be discussed.
