The transversal velocities of about 40000 G5-K5 giants of extended compiled catalogue are used to determine parameters of galactic rotation from Ogorodnikov -- Milne formulae. It is found that the Oort -- Lindblad model includin B, A', K, φ parameters, is sufficient to describe the galactic global rotation of giants in the vicinity of the Sun. The K and φ parameters are statistically significant only for G5-K0 giants. The orientation of the velocity ellipsoid is also determined as l1 = 11.5±1.50.
