A number of recent studies of metal-rich ([Fe/H] > -1) stars associated with the Sgr dSph have reported abundance differences with respect to those found in MWG stars for many elemental groups: alpha- (e.g., Mg, Si, Ca, Ti), iron-peak, and as well as abundances produced via neutron-capture nucleosynthesis. Some metal-poor outer halo globular clusters have also been purported to be associated with the present-day merger with the Sgr dwarf galaxy. Presented here are stellar abundances for a sample of four globular clusters with [Fe/H] -2. One of these clusters resides in the inner halo of the MWG, the other three are associated with the Sgr dSph. Unlike the unusual abundances reported so for the metal-rich "in situ" Sgr dSph field stars, and the metal-rich globular clusters associated with the Sgr dSph studied so far, these metal-poor clusters possess alpha-element and iron-peak abundances consistent with those observed in metal-poor stars of the MWG. Highlighted here as well are some of the issues involving the environments probed by these extremely useful tracers of early Galactic formation and evolution.
